Hey CCD & MissD! Absolutely spot on with the GSET! That one just smokes. Don't you just love the drums--tight! And, Bob really does this one justice (there is the faint little half yell, half squeak at the end of one verse, almost like he saw a mouse or something, but easily forgiven).

I agree completely that this is the BEST version of that song.

For 70s folks, does it even rank in the top ten? Since I don't go much further, just curious...

Cool; couldn't recall if it had been discussed...as a kid I had one with Jerry on wah-wah at the outset that was great, but think it had a Donna, so maybe not.

Hmmm--just noticed it's giving 68 a run for its money with my web interest, Miss D; oh well, at least it's not 82 or some such. I mean, do you think we would last if there was that big of issue between us? Crap--she'd probably start to see something to like in SDH, and that's the last thing I need to hear now that I have to worry about Charlie M.

Have no fear, dear boy...I rarely venture beyond 74.

OK, that made me laugh hard! I know what you mean, that vocal part is the only slight blemish on an otherwise perfect performance.

Yeah, one of my fav Bob Moments...he must be backing away from the mic and it sounds sorta like he is falling over a monitor or something: "aiieeeya..." trailing off.

Boy, that ones is good. I have used it as the starting track on half a dozen "mixes" for friends and family and they have all commented on how good it is.
